MND’s press release over “PRC long-ranged flight training” (December 17th, 2017)
MND told (17th) that PRC’s aircrafts such as Y-8 (see pictures) carried out their long-ranged flight training as flying through Bashi and Miyaaku Channel and returned to base.
MND director Feng went to the joint command centre to be briefed with sea and air intelligence and ordered to maintain the surveillance and respond with proper actions to secure the sea and air perimeter. The activity today showed no abnormality and people can be calm.
